Richard Raskin – short film as a fantastic art form

Here we are in the video of Richard Raskin’s masterclass and pitching! “…long lasting love affair with the short film”. We couldn’t agree more!

Old and New

So, this blog is going to begin in the New Year that’s coming!

But since it was in 2011 that everything took a huge turn, here are the highlights:

-       Rehearsing our presentation while ridding bikes in Annecy.

-       Riding our bikes under pouring rain for our presentation in Annecy. Walking to the room with the sound of water inside our shoes, but having clean, dry clothes in our backpacks (what a feeling!)

-       Winning the prize for Call for Projects in Annecy’s animation festival.

-       Meeting with all the producers (and not understanding French).

-       Go to Lumière Brothers’ house in Lyon in our first official visit to France. Auspicious!

-       Seeing where “La sortie de l’usine” was filmed.

-       Going to Valence and everyone thought we were going to Valença or Valencia.

-       Masterclass with Richard Raskin and very good feedback.

-       Seeing a big rainbow in the sky after the pitching with Richard Raskin. A sign in colors?

-       Exchanging thoughts and creating.

-       Having a very good director as our possible godfather for the project (not in a Scorsese style).

-       Being able to work in warm slippers in wintertime. (Feels soooo good!)

And here they are. More to come soon! :)
